I want to plan an activity for 10 children (ages 5-12) during a hike. I came up with the idea of making tie-dye t-shirts. Then they all have a fun matching shirt to wear while camping! The set contains 24 dyes in different colors! I would recommend doing this outdoors as mixing the paint consists of filling the bottles with water and then shaking them - some bottles leak a bit... so be careful where you do this. Preparing and cleaning this action takes much longer than the actual dyeing… then we pack our dyed garments into ziplock bags and leave them overnight. After washing and drying, the colors stayed beautiful and bright! I would recommend this tie dye set. The kids loved it and looked so cute!
