Review on 🚲 Neutral-Colored Garmin Edge 500 Cycling GPS Device by Chris Litton

I can't believe I've never posted a review of the Edge, probably because there are already hundreds of reviews of the 500 and it's already been replaced by the 510. This Revain page is specifically for the Premium HR package, so what can I say about that. First let me say that I love my Edge 500. I don't need the new wireless crap in the 510, I like the smaller size, I don't need a touchscreen, it does everything I need it to. Now to the premium package: I paid significantly more money because I wanted black and red. Here I said it. Is that so. So you guys and gals on the Garmin marketing team can rest easy knowing you're doing your job. I never use the heart rate monitor that came with it. Most of the guys I ride with have a blue or gray Edge and spend a lot less. Well I'm a flower lover. A performance note, black absorbs a lot more heat, so temp readings are crap. I rode my bike in 117 degrees! I'm also not sure if gray is any good, but my friends with gray usually read a lot less. So, I like my Edge 500, but I'm deducting points because I charge more for colors, especially when they actually affect performance.
