Tip: Adjust the temperature limiting ring before final assembly.
Does its job. I'm not a big fan of the flexibility of the plastic construction. It just doesn't seem to last as long as the old cartridge it replaced. Also, be sure to adjust the temperature limit ring before completing the assembly. The black ring around the shaft is easy to pull out with needle nose pliers applied to the small tab on the inside of the ring. Turn the restriction ring counter-clockwise to increase the maximum temperature and clockwise to decrease it. By default, my setup was too cold to shower.
