The Just Amp 5 is the kind of product you can take to work, leave on your desk and not worry if it gets stolen. It works and pairs well with an inexpensive Massdrop turntable for listening to vinyl at work, but the sound and volume it produces is just average. I hooked it up to my AudioTechnica turntable and Polk Audio speakers and heard a slight drop in sound quality. . That would be acceptable with headphones at work, but I don't think that's a solution for at home. There are also a few spots on my master slide that cause the audio to crackle and crackle. It works fine when I don't move the slider. I took off a star for the hype in my main slider and another star for value for money. I think a good price for this would be around $50-$60. Twice as much, I don't think I can justify buying it again even if it's just for use on my desk at work.
