This three compartment pencil case is good because it's good for those who like to paint or make crayons for adults . There are compartments for pencils, blenders and different types of erasers. If you prefer to organize your stationery and calligraphy pens, this might be for you. The main compartment holds 36 pens, but it's cramped as the pens have to slide out to make room to rummage around to pick the right color. To have space to search for colors without taking out the pen would be 20# so that the two outside pockets can be used without making this pocket too bulky. With my top five pens, a calligraphy pen, and extra ink cartridges, it has become my favorite adult crayon holder. I like the ability to use three compartments for three different purposes. Maybe you are too. I think you can wash that too. However, I plan to air dry it.
