Review on Sennheiser CX 300S In-Ear Headphone with Smart Remote - Black (One-Button Control) by Kai Shift ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not exactly what I wanted, but basically everything is fine.

For 6 years I have been buying only Sennheisers and only wire plugs. Love the sound quality and reliability. I handed over the CX 300-II under warranty and purchased these in return with a surcharge. So, the CX 300-II is better in almost everything. In them, I had enough volume with a margin, rarely turned it on to the maximum, and in the CX 300S at the maximum there is not enough volume, both from the phone and from the PC. The sound quality in the CX 300S is slightly better than in the CX 300-II, although barely perceptible with my, as I believe, not too fastidious hearing. The fact that there is a microphone is a plus, but its quality sucks, when you walk down the street - you have to bring your hand directly to your mouth, otherwise the interlocutor does not hear well. Before that, I tried CX 80s and they are about the same level, well, the sound quality of CX80s is a little worse. I don’t know why, but my headphones don’t last long, although I try to use them carefully. Senkhs live for a maximum of a year. Before that, with headphones from another company, I went for a maximum of half a year. I have been using this model for almost 4 months, let's see how long they live. Also, the CX 300-II is asymmetrical, meaning one earphone is longer than the other so that you can throw it around your neck. Previously, I did not understand why this was necessary, but as I tried it, I liked it so much. There are 4 pairs of ear pads in the kit and not one of them fits normally, all fall out of the ears, there were no such problems with the CX 300-II, the largest ones were perfect for my ears. In general, they are not worth that kind of money, I would give a maximum of 1500. Tried 4 Senhov models: CX 200, CX 300-II, CX 80S and these. The CX 200 has powerful bass, but poor quality. CX 80S sound quality is so-so and quiet. Of these 4 models, the CX 300-II is by far the best.

Pros
  • Sound quality, build quality, the presence of a microphone.
Cons
  • The sound is quiet. The microphone is of poor quality. Price - I bought for 2590, it's not worth it.
