Works great, quick painless setup, good value, I like it! I split my video games between a home game rig and a Wii U console. I was considering buying an Xbox controller for a gaming PC until I started researching whether I could use my Wii U Pro controllers on PC and this adapter does the job perfectly and saves me money! I love the feel of the Wii U Pro controller, and in some games the controller just feels good (I'm currently playing Gauntlet with it). I still play FPS and strategy games with a keyboard and mouse, but this gives me more options for other types of games and allows for the dual-purpose controllers I already have for the Wii U. Note: I think most modern games on Steam are supported on gamepads, but only xinput (not dinput). For example, Gauntlet requires me to use Xinput, which means only one of my Wii U Pro controllers will work with this adapter. For something like Lego Star Wars Complete Sage where local co-op (2 people play in the same room on the same computer) I'll probably need to get a second of these adapters for my second controller to get both pro controllers working. simultaneously. If the game supports Dinput, up to 4 devices can be used on one adapter. This adapter allows you to switch between Dinput and Xinput (I removed the annotations below directly from the Mayflash website) ● When the input switch is set to Direct Input, mode controllers are recognized as standard user interface devices. Your controllers can be calibrated in the Windows Gamepad settings screen. In this mode, an adapter can recognize up to four controllers. ● Setting the toggle to "Xinput Mode" cheats certain PC games that block the correct input modes for the user unless an Xbox controller is plugged in (see Wikipedia for a list of these games) . Vibration feedback is available in Xinput mode. The disadvantage is that in this mode the adapter can only recognize one controller.
