2009 Toyota Venza V6 AWD Bank 2 Sensor 1

I bought this AFR for a 2009 Toyota Venza V6 AWD. This is for code P2197 (bank 1 O2 sensor). The O2 sensor is facing you when you open the hood and look at the exhaust manifold. You need an O2 removal tool with a socket. Ratchet type does not fit (limited space). Also note that this part was NOT 100% PNP. Removal and installation are easy. Also, never touch the sensor head with bare hands. - Disconnect the battery - Hit the AFR with a PB blaster and let it sit for 10 minutes (helps on a warm engine, not a hot one; it's dangerous). - Disconnect the clamp from the radiator hose - Disconnect the AFR clamp from the wire harness (the AFR sensor is about 1.5ft long) - Use a female puller on the AFR and slowly and carefully remove - Apply Denso Anti- Seize/ lubricate the threads of the new AFR and install it manually. If you can install a torque wrench, tighten to about 30-33 lbs of torque, otherwise tighten until snug and make an additional 1/8 turn. Place the AFR wire back onto the radiator clamp, secure and connect to the AFR wire harness. Tighten the battery and start the car. I hope 3 ads go out. If you have an ODB reader you can check and clear the codes but it should still start, run and no longer have those pesky traction control disengagement issues. Run it for 5 minutes to warm up and burn off any remaining PB Blaster liquids. Your controller needs to be reset so it will take 1-3 tanks of fuel before the controller works more efficiently. At that point, fuel economy may drop slightly, or it may take a few more buttons to get going. This is normal as long as the headlights do not turn on. I would give this one 5 stars as Revain says it will fit the V6 Venza but the AFR wire was about 5 inches shorter so I just pulled out the clip holding the AFR wire harness. (snap clip) and used some zip ties to install it in its new location. It's okay, but Revane said it would do, but it barely fits. At least the lights don't come on anymore and my wife's car has regained traction control. BTW I had to replace the O2 (bank 2, sensor 2) first as my ODB reader said it was broken. After fixing this, this appeared. I'm wondering how soon I need to replace bank 1 sensor 1 as they usually fail at the same time. Still a lot cheaper than stealing. It took less than 15 minutes and most of the time I was waiting for it to cool down. Hope that helps.
