Strap and metal clasp are bad

I really wanted to love this bracelet but there are two things I really don't like.1. The bottom bracket that screws into the camera sticks out and my camera can't sit flat. (I noticed that another attachment has a feature that allows the metal loop to flatten out or stick out like an L - it would be nice to have this feature on all attachments, not just the expensive one)2. I have to constantly adjust the straps because they are too slippery and won't stay in place when tightened. For me this was important as I have a small hand and this is the main reason I bought a seat belt. I don't need a wrist strap to hold my camera but it is security and stability. The fact that the straps kept loosening during the 20-30 minutes of use was a bit annoying during the photo shoot. I think overall it's not something that can break my camera, just more of an annoyance. The overall quality of the strap is good, just hate nylon straps because they are slippery, don't tighten and stay in place.
