Review on 💡 T8 Aqueon Power Compact Fluorescent Lamp by Anna Crane

I bought this bulb for my 20 gallon tank. As much as I love this bulb, I just couldn't get over the fact that the outlet cast a yellowish-green aura around my tank. I have an aquarium with plants and it has a lot of greenery in it, so at first I thought the glow was being caused by my plants catching light and emitting a greenish glow of their own accord, but it wasn't. The bulb itself even made my fish (especially my bright red guppies) appear yellow. Therefore I will unfortunately be returning this lamp. I bought a Power-Glo 20W 24" Fluorescent Aquarium Light which produces a much more natural bluish white light and now my aquarium, fish and plants look much better and more natural. Unfortunately, Revain does not sell PowerGlo alone (hence fitting it doesn't come with Prime), so I bought it from Dr's Foster & Smith.
