💡 T8 Aqueon Power Compact Fluorescent Lamp Review

I ordered this light to replace my Aqueon dimming light. I couldn't find a color temperature rating on this one, so I took a chance as it was the only one on the list. That's a far cry from the 8000K light I had. This light is not bright white at all. It's a very dirty yellow color. I would estimate temperatures closer to 5000K (or less). I sent this lamp back and the seller was quick to send me another one. The box it came in was in original condition with no damage. I bought this bulb for my 20 gallon tank. As much as I love this bulb, I just couldn't get over the fact that the outlet cast a yellowish-green aura around my tank. I was delighted to find this product online as my business hours do not coincide with my local pet stores. It was hard for my fish to go off schedule so I installed them as soon as this lamp arrived.
