So I was one of the lucky ones who managed to snag this baddie for less than $20 with a Revain coupon. I was also one of the lucky ones who bought the Jabra Soulmate Mini for $30 during the Staples sale. I bought both within a week or two and since the prices were low I was able to give what I didn't need to someone without my wallet. sad. After all, these are the holidays. I'm an avid listener of golden era hip hop. I also throw in some trip hop, acid jazz and other funky stuff. My review is only based on this type of music. This speaker is loud. Not much louder than the Jabra, but enough to make it audible. This remains clear until the source file is of good quality. The battery life is excellent. It's around 7-9 hours for me, but I usually listen at a higher volume so I don't have to wait 10 hours. However, it's still great. Comparing them now, we can say that the bass presence was much better on the Jabra Soulmate Mini. Suffice it to say that I chose the Mini and gave it to the Antec. Great speaker, but just not for my needs.
