My fairy frog seems to like it. It took him a while to get interested in taking it, but after the first few times he started taking it without hesitation. I love that it has a decent nutrient profile (and includes D3 for those days when he's just getting night owls). The reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is because the packaging is a bit misleading. This is labeled as a "meal replacement" on the label, which can be easily misunderstood by novice hobbyists and lead to this food being used as the sole food. Proper amphibian nutrition is based on diversity. A wide variety of cultured live food, including insects, annelids, and perhaps the occasional appropriately sized rodent, should provide the majority of the calories consumed by an amphibian. This food should be considered as a complement to a balanced diet. This food makes up absolutely no more than 25% of my frog diet. Although the convenience factor is pretty good in a pinch. Overall I am a fan of this product and would recommend it to anyone working with horned frogs and/or elves!
