I modified this on my NAS to replace a similar SATA expansion card I got with a NewEgg which ended up with only one working SATA port. My system recognized it automatically and I had no problems with it. This card has been working flawlessly since I installed it. The speed is reliable and allows me to have the required number of hard drives in the NAS without having to spend money to replace all hard drives with much larger capacity drives when spare parts become scarce (and expensive) post COVID. .Good SATA expansion card :) 5 stars.
