After Max's review and a bunch of positive reviews, I decided to take a chance and . never regretted it. Yes, they are expensive (took for 10t), but they are worth it. Build quality is top notch. There is no backlash or creaking (my Sony MDR-XB950 started creaking after a month), there is metal and nice plastic everywhere (unlike the Razer Kraken). I replaced the leather ear pads with velor ones (fortunately they are included, although the leather ones are also soft and very comfortable, but I sit in these at work for 8 hours, I'm tired)) The sound card is the most common and it is quite enough. The buttons are large and comfortable, the only question is the microphone mute button, it is located on the side and is not entirely obvious. Although now I already press it automatically. The sound is quite good, nothing is smeared, no squeaks or hums (on Razer, it's just awful), but I lack bass. Although in games, probably, it will only get worse. Virtual 7.1 is purely marketing. In games, it only interferes, it is generally contraindicated for music, and in films I did not particularly appreciate it. It doesn't interfere and that's fine. But the microphone is not so good. Its quality is excellent (the best of all the headsets I've heard), extraneous noise is excellently filtered out, but it is quiet. I turned everything up to the maximum, and still need an additional amplification twice to be able to hear me normally. Plus, it's HUGE and constantly in view which is a little distracting. And I don't know how long he will live. At SteelSeries, from a friend, such a design died after half a year. In any case, it is removable and can always be replaced. Overall, if not the best, then one of the best headsets on the market. Everything is done very carefully, they sit well on the head, pleasant materials and appearance. Here on the fan, but I really liked it. The sound is much better than the Razer Kraken and SteelSeries v2, the microphone was generally surprising, but the fact that it is quiet is easily corrected by software amplification. I watched movies and listened to music in them, no problems (and hello Razer again, damn, they are miserable in everything) Let them be a little more expensive than the competition, but they are worth it. Definitely recommend
