I didn't want to spend the huge amount of money they charged for an official Samsung keyboard case/cover so I looked for alternatives and these attracted me to the price point as well as great ones amount of designs. I really liked the design of the writing pad and bought it. The design looks great! The fall is stronger than I expected. Ready assembled with tablet and keyboard, it feels like a tank! Personally, I'm okay with my tablet being heavy, and the basic S7 tablet is already heavy, but it's probably heavier than my MacBook Air, which isn't a disadvantage for me. Just something to note. The keyboard is attached to the body with magnets, which is really cool. You can move it back and forth while adjusting the angle of the screen, or just remove it altogether when you eventually don't need the extra weight and thickness. It instantly snaps into place with magnets, making it very easy to remove/add. I usually put my keyboard away when using my tablet to read portrait mode comics, which is great. The keyboard comes with a charging cable and is said to last about a month in standby mode (haven't tested it yet). The keyboard keys are decent but a bit muddy. It's not as good as a premium laptop keyboard, but it certainly gets the job done. I would have no problem using this keyboard as my main keyboard, for example if I were a student in a class or needed to type an email or letter on it. The case itself accommodates the S Pen in its default position (with and without the keyboard loaded into the case).
