This bag is tall and wide but thinner in depth which is nice. It can't be squeezed top-to-bottom or side-to-side at all due to the hard edges, but it can be squeezed relatively flat. So if you pack less, you can make it smaller to some degree. It fits in my 17L ballistic nylon backpack, which is pretty small if you're unfamiliar with pack sizes. The Doppa kit is labeled as a 7 liter bag. The bag is super processed. It is backed by a 1+10 guarantee with a comprehensive first year warranty and a 10 year warranty against defects and wear and tear thereafter. Both warranties are subject to certain exclusions. After 11 years you can have the bag repaired. Warranty conditions online if you want to check them. I love a good guarantee because it suggests that the manufacturer is committed to making the product better. I have a lot of things that I need to have with me to stay healthy and feel good. For convenience, I stow everything in a toiletry bag that can be carried from backpack to backpack. This bag is too big to work well but I did a dry run with my stuff to check it out. I'll post pictures later. He has held everything very well and looks great. However, I wish they had used stretch mesh pockets instead of thick elastic straps for the toilet bottle holders in the main compartment. Bags are more versatile for different travel styles and containers. I don't usually take large bottles with me when I travel; I carry small glasses, pipettes and the like with me. They are too small or short to fit with an elastic band, but they fit very well in bags with elastic edging. Having items on elastic straps also pulls on the main fabric and deforms the hard edges of the bag, which I don't like. The strap seems too tight. There are stretch mesh pockets in the thinner zip section, but this section is too thin to accommodate wide glasses. In order to use this bag, I'll probably have to buy new travel containers and carry different amounts. There is only one slider on the main compartment zip and when closed it is opposite the handle. So if you hang up your bag and unzip it even a little, things will fall out. It may be awkward to see or put in the bag as the edges around the zipper are very hard. However, the lining of the bag is a very nice medium gray fabric that allows you to see better than the black fabric. It has no mesh for a razor or toothbrush to dry in. I think some of the issues, like the lack of mesh and the elastic strap that is too tight, are compromises to make the bag more durable, so I can't be too dissatisfied with that. This is a very good bag and I only fault it because of the price. But I hope that in the future they will use mesh bags instead of elastics and make it so that you can hang a bag with a partially open zipper.
