Review on πŸŽ₯ Panasonic HDC-SD60S Silver HD Camcorder with 35X Intelligent Zoom (SD-Based) - Discontinued by En Xiao ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A really necessary purchase, I'm glad I found this product.

I bought the camera with an eye to commercial use (I shoot weddings) instead of a dead Mini-DV. I took it with distrust, then I just went to Full HD and none of my friends had experience using this format. I was embarrassed by 1 matrix. there are no normal cameras below 12-15 thousand. I started using it, delve into the features and immediately revealed the advantages - this is light weight, convenient ergonomics, all the necessary settings. To be honest, I use only white balance from the settings, sometimes I turn on back light compensation, but in the camera has additional very useful options - this is contrast adjustment, skin color softening, well, there’s something else. What I’ve never used in more than 2 years is all sorts of face recognition options there, smiles are some kind of crap))) And also, I put the camera on a monopod - a one-legged tripod, which improves the quality on the head, and basically I shoot from the folded monopod, using it as a long handle, like a steadicam if you like. One feature - I have heads in the monopod ka on the ball, i. E. I can turn the "handle" to any angle. Once, a year ago, this is after a year of intensive use, during the next wedding, I grab the camera from the table, put the strap in my right hand, grab the monopod with my left hand, lift the camera with my right hand and then the strap breaks The camera starts to fall, I somehow try hard not to drop it with the left monopod, it seems I even succeed, but the camera still hit the stool! That's it! I sent it for repair, after 2 weeks they called from there, the camera was repaired, the strap was changed and it cost about 1400. I searched on the Internet, my native Panasovsky for 3000 mAh costs more than 5 thousand! But still I found it! In the Hammer auction! I bought it for the first time for 900, and now for 500!

Pros
  • Light weight, modest dimensions, very comfortable in the hand. The ability to set manual settings, 2-level stabilizer - super! Pseudo-wide lens. The inclusion of the recording is instant, there is a Pre-rec mode, a diode lighting bulb.
Cons
  • There are no photographs, although they are 5 megapixels, and it also has a built-in flash with settings, although why does a camcorder need good pictures? Expensive batteries (which are relatives), you need to buy an additional charger (also very expensive)
