I don't think it's a 1:9 balun
I read all the reviews and can work around the negatives with pliers and bought it anyway. I don't want to mess up the production and I'm not an electronics genius, but if I understand correctly: a 1:9 balun should have 9 three-turn turns around the toroid. Mine was only 6. However, this improved my SWR reading a bit.
