Avoid - look for a top rated set or make your own

If you're like me you're looking for something to do with the kids during self-isolation this summer. DO NOT buy this. It's just a box (much smaller than expected) of random lower quality zippered parts assembled in China. It turned out to be awful and NOT worth the money. - The instructions are terrible. You will figure it out, but you will waste a lot of time and end up repeating the setup more than once. "160 feet" is less than 160 feet, but that's a common complaint about these kits based on other product reviews. This is supposed to be high quality stainless steel line, but it looks 100% identical to the cheap braided line I got from Tractor Supply for a fraction of the cost. A magnet sticks to it. I don't think it's stainless steel, but I'm not a metallurgist. - A "brake" is a piece of plastic with a drilled hole and a piece of bungee cord attached to it. That does not work. Instructions state that an adult should stand at the end and hold it to slow the driver down. So you need an adult to load the child at the beginning and an adult at the end? Other sets seem to have a large spring that you attach to the leash. I don't know if they work well, but I suspect they work better than a piece of plastic with a rope attached. The supplied hardware is unusable. Impossible to tighten. I've used an SUV with a winch and still couldn't get it right. Stainless steel fittings are cheap and there are no attachments or spare parts. The tether is so tiny it can't be used for anything. Don't waste your time with this. A tree rescue belt? It's nothing more than a rough-cut piece of PVC water pipe, and it's cheap. Oh, and you have to take it off and put the plastic brake pad back on the line, don't forget or you'll lose a lot of time. - The handle/carriage is cheap and flimsy. Very wobbly - the screws came out on the first day of use. Dangerous. - "Seat belt" and the belt is crap too. Too big for a child and difficult to attach. Finally, the "seat" is on a 9-foot rope. You have to sit inside and put your hands on the cart above you. You can shorten it to about 4.5 feet. I'm 1.80 m tall and that was too big for me as a grown man. We had to tie a knot to lift the car seat. I regret this purchase. The seller is just trying to cash in on the coronavirus summer craze. They took random items from a market in China and stuffed them into a box. You can get the same for a lot less and probably a better and safer time. Oh, but you'll get colorful flags, which the seller says is important! What exactly should you do with them?
