Thumbs down but cheap

I had to replace every part of this kit. I would recommend buying each part individually. I bought a 3/8 inch zip line from a site that sells it by the leg along with the necessary hardware which includes a turnbuckle and a couple of clamps. Make sure your zipline has loops on one end. Then I bought cheap black tires at the home depot. a hose to run a tree protection cable, then at Revain a SaferZip brake van and a SaferZip harness or seat. It will cost you a little more to go that route, butโ€ฆ

Garbage! best in outdoor sports and games

I have 2 trees that are about 145 feet apart and I thought this would be perfect. A few weeks ago I finally managed to install it. At first the cord only seems about 5/32 inch (very thin) but since my heaviest baby is only 120lbs and the other two are 65, the lightest is 50 so after a few uses it stopped rolling to the others . end and stopped about 1/4 of the way. I removed the entire noose and threw it over. I tried again and it seemed to me that her brakes were locked. I examined it andโ€ฆ

A major disadvantage of zipline kits

The product is well built and I know it will last as we have used it over 200 times in one day. He holds his maximum weight. However, there is one major downside. The C-clamps and nuts that hold the cable are made of stainless steel. If you know anything about stainless steel, you cannot use stainless nuts and bolts together. Once tightened, they cannot be unscrewed without breaking the C-clamps. In order for the stainless steel not to stick to the stainless steel, a special lubricant must beโ€ฆ

Great set and seller and too much fun

Great set and as mentioned great seller and customer support. I built a launch platform for this (not quite finished in the photo). A seat belt was mandatoryโ€”some kits didn't have it. That's how it was in the long 160-foot race. Had to buy extra wire nuts from the hardware store as the original wire nuts broke in half trying to loosen them, but that was probably due to the lock washer and because I had already tightened them up. The rotary tool, wire clamp, and other hardware are solid, and the

Granddaughters love it

I got a cable a week ago and ran it between two trees 150 feet apart, very little problem. I set the incline to less than the recommended 8% for several reasons that I think are good. I attached the bottom end to a heavy limb about 6 feet off the ground and the top end about 12 feet off the ground. As a result, the speed was about the same as that of the girls on the ground. Below they only had to sink a few centimeters to the ground. I ended up building a platform out of their tree house. They

Avoid - look for a top rated set or make your own

If you're like me you're looking for something to do with the kids during self-isolation this summer. DO NOT buy this. It's just a box (much smaller than expected) of random lower quality zippered parts assembled in China. It turned out to be awful and NOT worth the money. - The instructions are terrible. You will figure it out, but you will waste a lot of time and end up repeating the setup more than once. "160 feet" is less than 160 feet, but that's a common complaint about these kits basedโ€ฆ
