Review on Enhance Visibility with Hood Mount LED Pod Brackets for 2015-2020 Chevy Colorado/Canyon by Sergey Chodavarapu

I like the low profile of these mounts but the driver's side rubs the hood. I have adjusted as much as possible and it still rubs. We have to come up with something here. The passenger side puts my light at a slight angle. Installation could have been easier if the metal was removed from the front (installed) of the brackets so I could drill a hole in the hood and then rotate the bracket to install the other. Instead I had to unscrew both canopy nuts and while holding the canopy install the strut and tighten the nuts. Other mounts made for Colorado don't have this problem. Overall I'm disappointed with the fit, but I like the low profile compared to other mounts. I think some minor design changes would be ideal. Headlights: Rough Country Black Series with daytime running lights.
