Review on MICHELIN Latitude Cross 235/60 R16 104H summer by Michal Machnicki ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend it.

265/65 R17, Pajero Sport 2, replaced Dunlop Grandtrek AT3. I wanted to counterbalance quiet and soft "slightly-AT" tires. Workmanship: 4, balanced "usually" Value for money: 4, because there are very good Toyo and Yoko, and they are cheaper Ease of use: -1 for noisiness, -1 for hydroplaning Pros: Soft sidewall - affects the behavior of the suspension when driving over bumps. A double, like those Michelins, conveys noticeably less "road" to the cabin than a triple on the Dunlop Grandtrek AT3. What you need. Low weight - is achieved by a smaller thickness of rubber throughout the tire. Plus "light tires" - less momentum occurs and less energy is transferred to the body through the suspension when driving through bumps. In the minuses - the worst protection against punctures and cuts. These tires are one of the lightest ATs. Although I had to look for information on the weight of tires on the forums. Has cons: noisy drawing - I was surprised that these Michelins turned out to be significantly noisier than the Dunlop Grandtrek AT3. Although logic dictated the opposite, namely that, in general, more road tires should sound quieter. Alas. aquaplaning - the second amazing discovery, after the noise, was the behavior of the car in the rain. With Dunlop Grandtrek AT3 in the rain there was no hint of aquaplaning, very stable behavior (including in a rut). With Michelin in the rain, on the track with a significant rut, I drive all-wheel drive. "Plasticity" - last season noted uncertain braking "to the floor". The current season has confirmed this - the electronics worked twice during heavy braking on asphalt, a screech of wheels was heard. On the other hand, the tires have a good resource.
