I read the other reviews and thought people were exaggerating the smell. nope! It really stinks to high heaven and nothing I've tried has been able to get rid of the smell. I even left it outside in the summer sun for a week but it didn't work. I bought this 3 months ago for a laser printer toner cleaning project. It did a great job, although the toner permanently turned the inside of the tube black, but that's to be expected. The smell has gotten so much better that people don't give me funny looks anymore when I walk around in it, but it still smells a bit.
