Review on 🍸 Cocktail Mixing Glass Set for Crystal Clear Mixology - Foodservice Equipment & Supplies by Jon Lewis

After years of working with whiskey I finally decided to venture into the wide world of cocktails and I needed something to get me started. For the price, I really expected a lot less - flimsy glass, cheap bendable metal, really only temporary/disposable until I order better pieces piece by piece. This is not what I received. The mixing glass is fantastic - very large and with a thick base so very durable. The bar spoon was a special surprise, it has a good weight and gets into a good stirring rhythm very easily. The strainer is great, perfect for a mixing glass. I suppose if I had to complain, the spring could be a little firmer, but at this price point, that's not a complaint at all. Metal straws are also a nice bonus. I didn't need a pestle or spout, but I won't complain about having them! My only complaint would be that the jigger is a little clunky (no gauges and only 1oz / 0.5oz with that massive jar?) but I've already had the nicer 2oz / 1oz sides and gauges. This is good at least as a fallback if I'm too lazy to wash my good one. I was expecting the disposable set to be used for a few weeks before I got something better, but this came as such a surprise that I'm changing my plans and will be using this set for some time!
