My son's feet are about 4.5 inches, so I bought him a size 5-6 M and they fit perfectly. He usually hates wearing shoes, but it doesn't seem to bother him. He even wears them when we're not in the water. Recently he put them on the lake and they stayed on it the whole time. I got so many compliments! They protected his feet from stones. I look forward to going to the pool with them, I'm always afraid he'll slip. My son has only worn them a handful of times so I can't say how long they will last. but so far they seem to be holding up great!
