I'm a musician and I tend to play a lot with these tablet holders. Attaches directly to an accessory-threaded microphone stand if desired. There is also a metal bracket to attach to the vertical part of the microphone stand. It is very easy to place a tablet in it. It can be swiveled in all directions with different pivot points. On my Fire, it obscures the volume knob a bit when set diagonally, but I'm learning to live with that. You can also mount the tablets vertically. Also, this thing is a lot less "fiddly" (fewer moving parts) than some of the cheaper ones, and the quality and strength of the materials are better, and the price isn't that much higher.
