Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Merax Gaming Recliner Chair: Ultimate Comfort with Footrest, Headrest, Lumbar Pillow, Cup Holders, and More! by Andrew Agarwal

Revainrating 3 out of 5

for smaller people.

This is the fifth gaming chair I've bought so this isn't my first rodeo when it comes to gaming chairs. This time I decided to try the chair. I'm 5'10", 250 lbs. 25 pounds lighter than the listed weight limit? The good news is that they are wide enough. The bad and weird news is that all of my other gaming chairs have high backs and their headrests either fit me or are too big Amazingly the headrest of this chair rests on my shoulders when I'm seated which is incredible for a 5'10" guy. If you're lying on your back you can manually adjust it to fit your neck, but this is difficult if you're seated. Luckily I had a headrest for the AKR racing chair that fit OVER the TOP of the chair and not through a small window. Another bad news (for me) is that the footrest only supports one of my feet at a time. With both feet on it, it collapses (would it be because of my weight?) At 5ft 10 in my (one) leg, it dangles over the edge of the footrest at my ankle. The wooden pillow is HUGE - too big for me, it pushes my back into an uncomfortable position. After sitting in it last night, today I have ice on my back. I recommend unbuckling it from the harness straps and laying it loosely on your back, or taking it off and putting it back on if you want to do a lumbar massage. It vibrates strongly and has different programs. I liked it but I can't hold a lumbar pillow for long. Also, this chair is almost impossible to recline. as for ALL my other gaming chairs, not even close! maybe it said how far it reclines and I missed it, but I was expecting a lot more recline. and the footrest doesn't go very high either and unlike my other chairs you have to lift it separately from the back of the chair which is annoying as my other chairs do it in one smooth motion. The footrest rises when the backrest reclines, but maybe I'm spoiled. However, for $350 you can get this feature - trust me, it's worth it. .Wish I hadn't bought it? Yes. But since this is my fifth gaming chair I can't afford another one so I'll do my best. On a positive note, it's wide enough and if you're, say, 0.5ft 9 inches or less and weigh less than 230 pounds and like super large lumbar pillows, go for it!
