I am writing this review because I read that his company takes feedback and suggestions seriously. First off I want to say that I love the look of these insulated water bottles. They feel well built and are downright comfortable. I don't see any processing defects. However, I haven't done a time test, drop test, or bike bottle cage test (pulling in and removing a water bottle from a plastic bike bottle cage). Now to caps/tops. I didn't realize how important a flip-top lid (a lid that seals the mouth of a water bottle) was to me until I bought these thermoses. What is important to me is that it is much more hygienic, especially when cycling, as road dirt and dust can get on the mouthpiece. That's why I've been using the Thermos Flip Top for many years. The only thing I have never liked about thermos lids is that they are difficult to clean. I have to pull out the inner rubber parts with a fork and eventually they are tared. In addition, if these rubber parts are not cleaned, they will become acidic and smelly. So I thought I'd try these water bottles. I was disappointed to find that there is no cap for the "sports cap". Even with the straw stacked on top, it's still exposed to the elements. Finally, the insulated water bottles themselves are of high quality, but the "sports top" is not. It got stuck and wouldn't open. I tried opening it by sticking a butter knife in between and ended up opening it, cutting off the top in the process. Let's see if you listen to customers and their suggestions. 1. Design these tops so they don't stick. 2. Add hanging cap/cap for "sports cap". 3. Add a flip cover. 4. Make these flip covers easy to clean without removing rubber parts. I've included photos in this review: 1st is the "sports cap" of a water bottle, 2nd is a thermos lid that I've been cleaning for the past 4 years and finally I've included a picture of this sponge cleaner which is SOOOOOOO useful in cleaning this water . Bottles/thermos that I wanted to share. PowerPuff All-Purpose Sponge Cleaner Enter this number in Revain search B01BT63EVA In summary, I find it unhygienic to expose anything to the elements I drink from. Also, the sports cap they use is not a good product. While I like the look, I think I'll go back and buy another thermos. Although difficult to clean, the rubber parts lasted me 4 years so $30 every 4 years isn't too bad. And to be honest I chose them because they look really cool and my daughter liked them but just aren't practical for hygienic reasons. I would buy them again if they read this and suggested a flip cap design for the 25oz and a cap for their new sport cap with an improved design.
