Sweep and *Hit!* - This faux dome camera was easy to install and really looks very realistic thanks to its standard form factor and a visible red LED that flashes just above the 'lens'. The LED on the dome model isn't as bright as the LED on fake "bullet" cameras (they're nuclear bright), but that's not a problem; The LED is perfectly visible from the angle from which it needs to be seen. The camera assembly can be installed in a variety of positions thanks to the pan/tilt mounting mechanism - plus the camera itself can be inserted into the housing in 3 different positions in a 360 degree circle. Changing the battery is easy: you simply take the dome, rotate the cam block and the battery compartment (2x AA) is easily accessible. A "professional" burglar might spot the "real vs. fake" factor, but this camera (along with a professional-looking warning sticker) will encourage most bad guys to play it safe and look elsewhere.
