Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Denso 2213121 Radiator by Jeff Richardson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

direct fit 2000 Lexus gs400

I knew OEM radiators were prone to brittle plastic and could fail, so it was an easy decision when I saw the Denso direct replacement price of $65. I was a bit worried as some reviews mentioned they need to adjust some holes. it worked really well for my 2000 lexus gs400 application. I removed the airbox and replaced all hoses at the same time. The hardest part is unplugging all the electrical connectors. All fan screws fit in one place. the temperature sensor is screwed in and does not flow. The only minor adjustment was to the air intake/air intake. in the original application, there is a so-called foam seal between the radiator and the frame of the front of the car. the old foam was not reusable. I'm assuming this is to push more air out the front of the car and through the A/C condenser/radiator. I'll probably try to find a similar screen protector to install later, but I don't think it's critical. So far, so good. The temp is just over half the mark on my car.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Low repairability
