Ideal for men's shirts!

I had to go back and leave a review because I love this product. When I bought it I wasn't sure if it would work as almost all the reviews I saw were for women's clothing and usually for putting fabric on leather. But it works GREAT for men's shirts by laying fabric on fabric. When you wear a shirt without ties, a common problem is that the collars don't stay in place and open too wide, making you look like John Travolta on Saturday Night Fever. Basically, your options for fixing this are to only wear button-down collar shirts, wear ties all the time to keep the collars together, or buy a product to fix the problem. I've tried everything that's actually sold for it - the magnetic collar sticks like Wurkin Stiffs (the magnets aren't strong enough and you lose them if they fall off), the Fashion Anchor glue (not sticky enough - once you get started , moving around collar, opens back up), etc. Scotch Essentials tapes were FAR's best. The strips are quite long so I cut them open and use half of the strip on the shirt. I usually only wear one half over the second button (over the first, actually buttoned up, with the collar button open) and it keeps shirts clean. If I'm wearing a shirt with a large collar, I also cut two small pieces that fit under each collar flap. The band is strong enough to last all day even when I'm carrying my laptop bag or backpack to and from work. It's so strong that even if I wore the shirt a second time before washing, the band would be strong enough to last another day. (Be sure to remove before washing or dry cleaning.) Highly Recommended!

Pros
  • Safe hiding with easy to use strips
Cons
  • Not bad but...
