I ordered these for my wife. This is what she says about her: I really like it! Before trying bamboo pads I used disposable pads and 3 other types of reusable pads (I don't know the brands because they were all baby shower favors and I got them out of the original packaging a while ago). The disposables were decent - held the leak well and were barely visible through my shirt. but they felt papery and rough and gross on my skin and I went through tons of them and felt terrible about the waste I was creating. Of the reusable items I had, most were pretty flimsy, but they showed horribly through my shirt and I bled through them like they weren't there. totally useless. I ordered bamboo sticks as they were recommended by a friend and they had the decentest reviews. They solve all the problems I've had with all other nursing pads I've tried. They're soft and comfortable right out of the box. they are thin and almost invisible when worn due to their shape, although I only wear unlined bras. I was worried they wouldn't sit comfortably as they are quite large and I have small breasts but they fit perfectly whichever way I place them. and of course the most important aspect: I never leaked them. This is shocking as they are so thin and the material doesn't seem to absorb moisture at first glance, but they do an excellent job of sealing leaks. They are completely saturated inside and at the same time not a drop of moisture remains outside. This product makes my life as a new mom so much easier!
