Broken fan fin after 38 days.

Delivery March 19th; As I sat on April 26th with an 11 1/2" HP Mini 311 balanced and centered on my lap on my lap, the fan started rattling and a 2" long piece of one of the fan blades (blades, whatever ) spat on the floor. . Obviously I've had no luck with the return after eight days but Revain has been very customer friendly so will update after checking with them. Obviously the fan design doesn't work when something like this happens so quickly.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Fantastic computers and accessories

For many years I had a Zalman NC-1000 which I found to be a very good product except for a couple of points: insufficient fan performance and relatively high noise level for its puny energy. This cooler is MUCH better than the Zalman. There's a lot of airflow and it's so quiet. I like the simple design and it is very stable. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • Not the best

2 major flaws. Just OK

Ordered three cool pads to try out. I like the aluminum design. I think on MacBooks this would be a great secondary feature. Three stars only because nothing keeps the laptop safe and non-slip. Another reason is that the fan doesn't have any screen or casing underneath. Putting it on your lap, pillow or blanket will interfere with the fan blades. A few design tweaks and it's going to be a great device. Cooler Master NotePal ErgoStand Lite Height Adjustable Laptop Cooling Pad with Adjustable Fan

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Long wait

Nice hub but just an acceptable fan

The fan works well, not much flow considering it draws power from the USB port along with 3 ports. But in my experience, even a powerful fan doesn't do much for a closed gaming laptop under full load. I bought this docking station primarily to use as a USB hub, so I don't have much to complain about. (The hub works fine even without a power supply, better than 3 other hubs I've had). But I'm hoping they can include a power supply so I don't have to search and risk burning circuit boards.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Great design, flawed construction

Very disappointed. It's been less than a month and the screws holding the USB connector to the case fell out. There are no washers, the bolts are constantly turning. Buy something else

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

Efficient but not great build quality.

After a few months, one of the screws holding the USB input that powers the fan broke off and got lost, which is a bit annoying, and the screws hold The left side has too much play overall for comfort. It's not incredibly solidly made, but it still works, albeit somewhat clumsily and effectively. I managed to play Fallout 4 without the troubling protests from my laptop. He has worked and is working for this purpose. I don't have a software or hardware method of temperature control on my laptop;

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

The label on the bottom clearly states 12 volts and the internal fan is marked 12 volts, but the external power connector is only 5 volts and is unmarked. 12 volts burn the card. When the fan is running on the nominal 12 volts, it runs much faster, but the cheap plastic case amplifies the fan's vibration and makes a lot of noise. When the fan is powered by your laptop's USB port, it runs so slowly that it's of little use. There are many laptop coolers at Revain that cost less and cool your…

Pros
  • Sandblasted aluminum case with a modern style
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Noisy, not suitable for sitting on a desk, wrong dimensions

I liked the simplicity of this design and it turned out I could easily replace the fan in the future if needed. However, the design of this product is completely wrong. It's clearly designed to be mounted on a flat surface, but there's not enough room under the fan to draw in the air it needs to spin at the right speed. This puts a strain on the fan motor and causes a pulsing noise that is quite annoying. I tried stacking the whole thing on a few blocks so it can pull more air and the fan spins

Pros
  • Human factor makes it easy to use
Cons
  • Poor instructions
