Ordered three cool pads to try out. I like the aluminum design. I think on MacBooks this would be a great secondary feature. Three stars only because nothing keeps the laptop safe and non-slip. Another reason is that the fan doesn't have any screen or casing underneath. Putting it on your lap, pillow or blanket will interfere with the fan blades. A few design tweaks and it's going to be a great device. Cooler Master NotePal ErgoStand Lite Height Adjustable Laptop Cooling Pad with Adjustable Fan was the winner out of three.
