Monitor Stand/Desk Organizer. Attractive bamboo finish, no chips on the two I received. The lift can be used alone or with a shelf mounted on one (or both) ends and secured with small dowels. Easily remove or swap out the shelves when needed. I used one unit with just a stand for a large desktop monitor, another with shelves on each side and a stand for a large laptop. The rack does not stand alone. Assembly is pretty easy. IKEA 101. But unlike IKEA, it's almost a defense against jerks. If you look at the assembly photos even with a cursory glance, it's pretty hard to mess something up. Simply lift the vertical shelf, jelly side up. When you do this there is only one way to align the holes. The only problem with mine was that at least one of the screw holes on each block had chipped. However, the stands are fairly solid and can easily support the weight of a large monitor in one case and a 17-inch laptop in another. There is no hesitation. Highly recommended.
