📺 SONGMICS Bamboo Monitor Stand Riser with 2-Tier Desktop Storage Organizer - ULLD217 Review

Easy assembly. Looks way better than I expected - the bamboo is smooth and beautifully finished. Goes perfectly with the high part on the right in my office on the 2nd floor, under the roof, with a sloping ceiling. I hate messes even though I know how to make them. Now all those messy (very important) things piled in piles have a home. So I don't have to organize and reorganize myself before I can start doing something. Damn, now I have to come up with another excuse to procrastinate.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this product. It was easy to assemble, good quality (a bit heavy in a good way) and very thoughtfully designed. I like that it has small cut outs for the phone and coffee mug which I found to be inconsequential when first looking at the product. It raises my monitor to a good height and has enough space to tuck my laptop, keyboard and mouse underneath. I bought this and file storage for my desk which was a disaster and without throwing away too much…

I needed something to help me with the height of my monitor, so why not something to help me organize it too! I loved it as soon as I took it out of the box. I think I assembled it in under 10 minutes. I wish I could take a before photo so you can see what my table looked like. The vertical organization on the side helps a lot to store things when not in use. Also, I was able to bring one of my plants to my table! I would buy it again with great pleasure. Love the bamboo and construction. My only complaint is with the way the shelves attach to the monitor stand. Fastening is only done with 2 dowels, not with screws. For me the fit wasn't perfect and there was a slight lift in front of my shelves that moved back and forth as I put something on it and then took it off the shelves. I had to put paper on the back legs of the shelves to make them stable. I thought about it or using wood glue to attach the shelf to the stand. Otherwise this item is…

Bought two of these while I was on one custom table that will allow me to place them next to each other. Overall, they're pretty good, if a bit pricey. I mounted them with the cutouts down as I needed the most flat space possible. Unfortunately, as you can see in the first picture, the long flat board has a crack where the dowel hole was drilled.
