This slim gallon pitcher was just what I was looking for. Most slim jugs are only 2 liters so I was glad to find that. I keep 2 jugs next to each other so that's really important to me. There are just a few minor gripes that don't change my opinion of the jug: The switch-style spout is loud and clunky, as other reviewers have pointed out. The spout itself also seems to have a few drips that don't return to the pitcher unless coaxed by gravity and a light tap. The bottom is not flat but has an odd little half-step in the middle, similar to some pools. Not a deal breaker, but it can make shuffling difficult. However, I'm still very happy with my purchase and am considering buying more before I can't find them easily (Walmart used to carry them but no longer). The Sterilite brand still delivers the quality I can count on and it hasn't disappointed me after using it all summer.
