At first I thought the legs were also aluminum but they are cheap plastic. Second, it is very difficult to adjust the legs so that both sides are level, and they cannot be adjusted when the laptop is placed on a flat surface. The transition from sitting to lying down takes too long to worry. It would be easier to have two such tables and switch between them, defeating the whole purpose of adjustability.
