Review on 😍 Valentine V1 Radar Detector Mirror Mount + Direct Wire Power Cord Combo (3001204) by Eric Smithlin

I wanted a better mount for the V1 and found other mirror mounts but they are much more expensive. This is the first affordable one I've seen. The concept is good, but the execution is just okay. One problem is that the detector hangs too much. Two problems with this: 1. It obscures a small but necessary view of the windshield. 2. He attracts the unwanted attention of the cops, who may agree with point 1 and stop you for that reason alone, and of course thieves. Another problem with this block of pieces. It's all very consistent. The two halves intended to enclose the mirror are of different widths and thicknesses. It will still work fine and you won't really be able to see it once installed, but it does give the product a cheap look. Almost like scrap.
