Just received the case today. The device is made of soft faux leather and appears fingerprint-free, which is a nice touch. Protects the look of iPad with a durable case that's still soft enough to put on and take off. The design of the magnetic stand works well, giving you 8 different positions (1 is the lid fully upside down and 7 magnetic positions to stand in that range of 35 degrees to maybe 85 degrees). You can take it off the iPad and it stays in place. This design also allows for stable use of the knees. On the back is a holder for an Apple Pencil, which I didn't initially do. I don't understand how to use it, but I've found that it can sometimes fall off when put in a pocket. This provides a secure storage space. protection and versatility.
