The upper and stitching are normal and typical for this type of jacket. The fit is also as expected. But the problem is with the lining. The lining is of normal height, but the base is very thin, and the fluff sits in it very rarely. The Sherpa lining on my son's jacket seems to be of a much better quality. I also have major doubts about how well the down is attached to the base. This can be good in lighter weather and when the product is used very sparingly. But I bet most people won't use it that way. The label also states that the lining is 100% polyester. So I'm not sure what that statement about the higher cotton content in the description is referring to. All in all, this jacket might be acceptable at $30, but there's no way it could be worth $45. I have ordered several jackets of this type and I think this is one of the main candidates for a return due to the quality of the material.
