These headlights are great and I've had no problems with them. I suspect some of the reviewers who claim they're broken (where lights work and bubbles don't) just don't understand how they work. The heat from the bulb causes a bubble effect and therefore the lights must be on for a few minutes before they all glow. If they aren't bubbling after a good 5 minutes then I would say they may be broken. But if the light itself works, they probably didn't give it enough time to bubble before assuming it was broken. All refills will bubble up in a few minutes after plugging. They add a beautiful light and element to the wood that you simply cannot achieve with regular lights alone.
