The USB end of the adapter will heat up quickly with brief use
This adapter was purchased to connect the Dragonfly DAC to an iPod Touch. This adapter and DAC got very hot after about 10 minutes of use. I then bought another adapter also sold at Revain (one that also includes a Lightning charge input and a USB 3.0 input), neither device got hot.
