Bought to protect the new iPad 12.9 which came out today (March 25th). He seems perfect in every way. The plastic is slightly raised at the corners than previous cases I've had for my 4 year old Gen II 12.9. This seems to be done to make room for a strap built into the front cover. I'm concerned that the strap will eventually damage the glass or accelerate the breakdown of the coating - I think I'd rather have a completely flat/soft inner cover and could cut the strap. The skin itself looks real. If that isn't his really good skin. The firmware is perfect in every way. The case is a bit heavy and very thick, but seems to provide good protection for the iPad. I will update again in a few weeks. can be submitted a week before the release of the iPad itself. I think a lot of beta testers. And such similar reviews - what are the odds. And all the suitcases for sale so far had exactly 15 or 25 ratings. I think we know how review kits sell. Upgrade to 4 stars. The band actually fits into the space created by the bevel. My wife got almost the same case for her 12.9 - from the same manufacturer, slightly different design. This one (brown "leather") is thicker and tougher - seems to offer better protection. Again - read the reviews critically - the vast majority are clearly fake as they were published before the device was released on Wednesday 25th March.
