I bought this for my 1985 2 seater Nissan 300ZX which does not have a cup holder. It works really well even though the car is manual so I have to use the emergency brake which gets in the way a bit. However, it's serviceable and does the job, it just needs to wobble a bit. If my husband rides in the passenger seat, I have to remove him (he's taller than me, I'm short and can fit in the seat with him). But I can put it on the driver's side and I can still drive it there. It's just a little painful to get on and off with the emergency brake. The shape of the seat also makes it slightly askew, but I'm glad I can reach for a cup in the car without spilling it! Any issue is not really product related, just trying to provide details on fitment for my particular vehicle. My husband has a 1994 Nissan 240 SX with no cup holder so I bought him one. Definitely a good find
