BeyerDynamics is known for its durable headphones. It's one of the few audiophile companies to offer multi-ohm impedance options. After a month or two of research and watching videos, I settled on the BeyerDynamics dt990 Pros (250ohm) version, which are open-back headphones, for my gaming setup. I also decided to try the giggle booster. In the end I decided to use a different amp. On the other hand, the headphones were different at night and during the day compared to my gaming "Astro A20s" that I had before. The low frequencies are definitely not bass-heavy, but hit the right spot and sound good. The mids are well balanced and clear across the board. A bright high is THE REASON I AM BACK. They're just too light for me. There are mixed rumors of them being "burned" but it will take time. And there is no such thing as 100% security. If you have sensitive ears I wouldn't take it. I would try the (80 ohm) version. Good product! Nice classic design and quality! Recommend!
