Such a simple introduction to hand embroidery. I used YouTube videos to learn how to sew but love that all the materials and instructions to get started are in one handy package! It looked very nice when it ended.

The set looks exactly like the pictures and nothing is missing on the packaging. I love useful little scissors. I ordered a hedgehog design and was surprised to find ribbons and thread included in the kit. I missed that when looking at the picture. Although I've never embroidered with ribbons, this was an interesting new idea for me and I think it's going to be cute.

So disappointed. I ordered this and the next day a shoulder injured very badly so I couldn't use it when I hoped. But I opened it up to look at it piece by piece, everything seemed there, but came back to it a few weeks later and it was full of mold. Nothing could be saved. I have no idea how. It was kept in the bedroom all the time and nothing else in the room, even hints of mould. I believe it was a wooden frame. But it was a shame because it was very cute.

The pattern is very cute and while I would consider it suitable for beginners, the markings in the instructions are wrong. French knots are labeled incorrectly, there is no indication of a woven wheel stitch, and a satin stitch is labeled as a point stitch. Once you figure this out, you can easily search the internet for making a wagon wheel and based on the photo it is obvious that the French knot and not the "spotted stitch” is the stitch used for flower centers and a few random knots.

I embroidered this project as a gift for a dear friend. Took me maybe 12 hours, just an estimate. I am very happy with the result, as are you. Two mistakes in this sentence: (1) He has to say "every day", 2 separate words, instead of "every day". I embroidered as it should be. This is a good starter kit but not as good as others I've used. The design is cute, but the directions are mostly a bit skewed due to misspellings. The style is free on the sample photo. My approach was to just make it mine, so I took some liberties with the colors and stitches. The tire that came with it was difficult to tighten, so I gave up and replaced the tire with one that was easier to work with.
