There were problems with the Brother SE625. The thread cutter button did not work, the threads continued to clump on the needle. When I went to a specialty store for help they said it was the bobbin case and there was a notch somewhere. I tried sending it down hoping to fix something but when that didn't work it was time to buy a new one hoping it would fix my problem. The Brother brand bobbin case was over $20 (a bit pricey for me, especially when I wasn't 100% sure it would solve my problem). I stumbled across this one and figured why not. In comparison, it looks almost identical, except for the gun part, which appears to be slightly smaller than the factory version. Everything went smoothly during the exchange! I've had it for 3-4 months now and I've done about 50 embroideries and haven't had any problems.
