Review on 🌑️ iProven DMT-316 (Grey) Forehead and Ear Thermometer - Easy-to-Use Digital Thermometer for Fever in Adults and Seniors, LED Display with Big Buttons by Nathan Unruh

Too expensive for its features

Okay, I'll take out all the goodies. The numbers are easy to read and the display isn't too bright in low light. Other than that, the design of this device isn't the best. > The removable cap was more difficult to remove than it should have been. In addition, it can break or even be lost. You could simply force the probe to retract or extend with the push of a button. In short, the removable cap was just a very unfortunate design choice. > The (sealed) head temperature sensor is always one degree lower than the ear reading. ALWAYS. To fix this, simply remove your cap THEN run your finger across your forehead. In 90% of cases, the difference between the forehead and the ear was no more than 0.2 degrees. If you go to a doctor's office that has head thermometers, the probe is ALWAYS an open probe with a metal tip and NEVER covered with a cap with a tiny probe hole. > I had a few incorrect readings compared to my regular thermometer. For example, I heard beeps and saw a red screen saying I had a temperature reading of 101.2 F when measured in my ear. My regular thermometer shows I was at 98.7F. I've found it better to try again, 1 or 2 more times if you get a clearly wrong reading. developed product and its barely adequate performance. I will leave mine however as I now know how to bypass the features of this device. I would advise anyone reading my review to look elsewhere for a digital thermometer.
